This page says how City Signal Pro uses cookies and similar storage on citysignalpro.life. Read it with the Privacy Policy. We keep storage light. There are no advertising cookies, no chat widgets, and no analytics pixels on these pages. If Google Ads measured the click that brought you here, that measurement sits with Google; we do not fire that pixel from the newsroom site.

1. What is stored

The banner saves your choice — all cookies or essential only — in localStorage on your device, under a key that belongs only to this site. That is essential storage. It does not hold your name or your tip. If you wipe site data, the banner returns.

The contact page loads a Google Maps pin for 55 Amoy Street so you can see the newsroom. Google may set cookies on that frame. The street address stays on the page, and a noscript link points to Google Maps.

2. Purpose

Essential storage exists so a “no maps” choice is remembered. Functional Maps storage exists so people who want a pin can see one. We do not use cookies to retarget you, to score a profile, or to change a story based on who is reading. Everyone gets the same article HTML at a given URL.

3. How long

localStorage stays until you delete it. Google’s own cookies follow Google’s lifetimes. We cannot edit those from Amoy Street. Blocking third-party cookies in the browser can stop the map even after you tap “Accept all”.

4. Changing the choice

Clear this site’s data in your browser, reload, and the banner appears again. There is no advertising opt-out panel because we do not set advertising cookies. We do not treat a “Do Not Track” header as a Maps permission; Maps still waits for the banner.

5. Without JavaScript

Stories, legal pages, and the enquiry form work with scripts off. The banner and the delayed map need JavaScript. Without scripts we do not load the frame. That is deliberate: better a missing pin than a third-party load you did not accept.

6. What we do not store

We do not set a cookie because you opened Neighbourhoods rather than Housing. We do not fingerprint the device beyond what the browser sends to fetch a page. We do not sync cookie choice to an account, because there is no account. Essential localStorage is not used as an advertising identifier.

If a future edition adds another functional embed, it will be named on this page before it loads, and it will wait for the same banner. Until then, Maps on the contact page is the only third-party frame that can run after you accept functional cookies.
