The connector is not fully continuous. One crossing remains unsheltered because utility works delayed a final canopy segment. Signs at both ends describe the gap honestly; our story repeats that description rather than calling the route “fully sheltered”.
Cyclists must dismount in two segments where bollards narrow the path. We note dismount zones because schoolchildren sometimes miss the symbols on first use. Housing desk flagged a nearby playground that now sits closer to the fast path — parents asked for clearer fencing; that comment is on the record from a resident association spokesperson.
